In the country’s current political climate, many are now contradicting his value and contributions as a hero. How does his family name affect his heroism? A hero is also said to be a political actor because of his influence and ability to cause collective action in society.

Quezon III, and Prof. Arj Aguirre discussed our heroes, more particularly the events circling around Ninoy Aquino’s heroism and what he was willing to sacrifice for our country. Our guests also explored the connection between history, heroism, and politics and urged the audience to think of the timeless values our heroes, especially Aquino, have as heroes.
