Trump’s immigration ban: Its impact on Pinoys
President Donald Trump’s revised immigration ban is set to target the same seven countries he listed in his original executive order. However, concerns and fears continue to hound Filipinos in the United States since thousands continue to live as illegal immigrants.
Historian Manolo Quezon III explains the history of Filipino immigration to the US that soon gave way to the “FilAm” (Filipino-American) way of life.
“For all the tens of thousands of legal immigrants, there are also 300,000 of our fellow Filipinos living in the legal shadows as illegals,” Quezon said.
Quezon explains the effects of Trump’s immigration ban to Filipinos in Monday’s episode of “Mornings@ANC.”
